Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania: Kang Is Not The Main Villain Of The Film

Kang made his debut with ‘Loki’ as the mastermind behind the Time Variance Authority and with the trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, it was confirmed that future movies of MCU is going to revolve around Kang The Conqueror.

But in the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania there might be a villain even more important than Kang, the movie will start the MCU Phase 5 and eventually is Phase 6 Kang will become the main villain that new Avengers team will have to fight against.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania: Who Could Be The other Villain

Kang has already hade his debut in ‘LOKI’ as a result the only debut should be Kang’s real identity and appearance, here is when things get interesting, n the trailer Kang is not actually fighting Ant-man but seeking his help.

Why would someone intelligent like Kang needs help? Based on upon the original trailer from San Diego Comic-Con, it seems like someone has stolen something from the Kang and he need the help of Ant-Man to retrieve that thing. And their is a speculation that it is M.O.D.O.K. who stole something from Kang.

M.O.D.O.K. Could Be The Next Big Villain In The MCU

This means that the real debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania would be M.O.D.O.K. and he is more important than Kang but eventually Kang will become more important in MCU Phase 6 but there are somethings that should excite fans about M.O.D.O.K.

Corey Stoll might be playing as M.O.D.O.K. in the film which means Hank Pym and Ant-Man will be fighting against the first villain again, in Ant-man 1 Stoll played Darren Cross.

Cross turned into Yellowjacket and shrank into what appeared to be nothingness in the final scene of that film. While his costume shrank all around him, his body appeared to be crushed. The Quantum Realm, it would seem, is where he wound up.

Cross will become the MCU’s version of M.O.D.O.K., which means that he will have an even bigger grudge against Ant-Man and Hank than any other villain could, as his body is likely destroyed and he might have received the new robotic body to help him get around.

If there is a perfect way to end Scott’s Ant-Man trilogy, it would be bringing back his original villain one more time.

M.O.D.O.K. would be a more compelling antagonist for this particular film as a result, and he may potentially contribute to the MCU as a recurring antagonist before Kang in Phase Five.

In the Marvel Comics, M.O.D.O.K., a key antagonist, has conflicts with characters from S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain America, the Hulk, and even others who haven’t made their MCU debuts yet.

In actuality, Gwenpool is his arch adversary, and if M.O.D.O.K. can survive Quantumania, adding Gwenpool to the MCU would enhance his comeback even more. M.O.D.O.K. may or may not be the third Ant-Man movie’s most significant antagonist.

Will Kang Be The Next Thanos Sized Villain

The Loki series anticipated the next phase of the MCU, which will travel across other universes and over time. Both Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: No Way Home explored the complexity of the multiverse within the superhero genre.

It’s possible that Kang will be the next Thanos-sized antagonist that the heroes of Earth-616 must defeat in order to save the life of their reality because the Loki storyline set the spark that would cause Kang to start a multiversal war.

Kang’s future in the MCU is unknown, but fans must wait until Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania in February to see him again.
