Unique Physiology

Nezuko’s physiology is very different from other Demons, she does not need to feed on humans to replenish her energy like other Demons, this ability of her is discussed in the series in very early stages.

But their is a catch with this ability, she needs to sleep more than others in order to get her energy levels back, in short she substitutes eating humans with sleep.

If she gets any big injury while fighting then she needs even more sleep to recover from that injury and fatigue that she accumulate from fights.

One more example of her unique physiology is that she can change her body size at will, she can become big and she can also become very tiny at will, which is a very big advantage while fighting.

Powerful Demonic Form

Like other Demons Nezuko also have regenerative abilities, and this ability directly depends on how powerful a demon is, more powerful demons have very good regenerative abilities, and visa versa.

Nezuko’s regenerative ability is weaker than other Demons because she does not feed on humans and prefers to depend on her sleep for recovery, but when Nezuko entered her Awakened Demonic form her regenerative abilities very drastically boosted.

This shows how powerful she is as a Demon, especially in her Awakened state as during a fight Daki, who is an upper-rank Demon said that her regenerative abilities are superior to her rank, she actually has the regeneration ability of an upper rank Demon.

Also, when she entered in her Awakened state, she became bigger and started looking more mature, she also grew a horn, her speed got enhanced and her powers also multiplied.

In this state she also was able to control her blood, when Daki sliced her limbs and head she was able to make her blood hard this was she was able to stay in one piece.

With time she was able to control her form and now she can get into her Awakened state at will, she can also remain conscious in her Awakened state.

Immunity Against Sunlight

Nezuko has a immunity against sunlight, and this ability sets her apart from all the Demons as no Demon was able to resist the sunlight, this gives her a upper hand in any combat with any ranked Demon.

But because of this ability she became a target for Muzan who can absorb other Demons abilities, as it is the most unique and very advantageous ability, Muzan is on a constant hunt for Nezuko for her Sunlight resistance ability.

Nezuko is without a doubt one of the most powerful Demons in Demon Slayer, she just needs to explore herself more, she is the only Demon after Tamayo who has escaped Muzan, and it was her will power that helped her escape him.

And this is what makes Nezuko so powerful and dangerous against any opponent, and because of her will power she was able to enter her Awakened state.

Possible one of the reasons she has all there powers may be because of the large quanity of boold that Muzan gave her.

Althought Mauzan is and will stay even more powerful than Nezuko but Nezuko can be easily compared with any high ranked demon.
