Avatar 3: “The Seed Bearer” Everything We Know So Far

James Cameron, the leading director of Avatar 3, in September 2020, confirmed that they have finished 95% of Avatar 3 and by December 2020 they completed the entire film, The name of the film is “Avatar: The Seed Bearer”.

Avatar 3 is been announced to be released on 20th December 2024, which is 2 years after the release of Avatar 2: The Way Of Water, Meanwhile Avatar 4 & 5 are also set to be released on 18th December 2026 and 22nd December 2028 respectively.

When Avatar 2 was about to release, James Cameron said, that it will be nearly impossible to predict the story of Avatar 2, and it is exactly the same with Avatar 3, as James Cameron dose not want to make the story predictable for the surprise element, so he is going to change the story line a little bit. Anyways, here is the prediction of Avatar 3’s plot, this is how the story can look like:

The entire focus of the movie shifts from Kiri, adopted daughter of Jake and Neytiri to their adopted human son Spider, as his Avatar body, which is in RDA occupied jungle, is ready and Spider is also ready to be transferred into his Avatar body permanantly.

But the problem is, his Avatar is with the RDA who wants to take Spider back with them, as he is a human who does not belong to Pandora. Not only that RDA also wants Kiri for experiment, as RDA wants to harness her power, but she is not the focus of the story.

The story is about Spider who now has to choose between living with the Na’vi tribe (he is grown up with them) or being with humans where he actually belongs. Spider will have to make a very tough decision while realizing that he dose not belong to Pandora and he is destined elsewhere.

Avatar 2 is the first Underwater CGI Film Ever

After watching James Cameron’s film like Aliens, Titanic, Terminator etc. one this is very clear that their is a element of uniqueness which is never seen before in other movies.

He did the same to 2009’s Avatar as well, avatar 1 was the first film to has that kind of CGI, and he did it again as Avatar 2 was the first ever film to utilize under water CGI, and the reason for that is, their was no technology available before avatar 2 that can do so.

In order to film Underwater CGI, James Cameron had to build his own camera, so that the motions under the water could be captured precisely and afterwards CGI could be used.

Avatar 3 was planned to release in 2015

The directors wanted to release this film in 2015 as per planning, but now it will release in 2024 and the reason behind it is that, Avatar 2 got delayed because the directors were waiting for technological advancement.

James Cameron being James Cameron, wanted to make this film ahead of its time and wanted to push what cinema can do, this lead to a very big delay, on top of that they were also waiting for all the movie theaters to open after the lockdown.

All this lead to Avatar 2 dates to push forward, and they came up with a new date for Avatar 3 as well, which is 20th December 2024.
